How much does each card payment in dollars cost you?
When you pay by card in US dollars, your Czech bank converts the amount from USD into crowns at its own exchange rate. It is usually worse than the official rate — the difference is a hidden bank markup you pay on top for the currency conversion.
We compare USD/CZK rates against the official reference rate of the Czech National Bank (CNB), which the CNB publishes every business day. There is no European reference for the dollar like the ECB, so the CNB rate is the only reference. Each bank in the table shows its most recent available rate — we update several times a day.

💡 How to read the table: Green values mean a rate better than the CNB reference, red values mean you overpay. The higher the red number, the bigger your loss.
⚠ Yellow rows mean the rate's date in the table is not today (e.g. the last business day, a weekend or a holiday, or the bank has not published a rate for the current day yet). They follow the rate date, not the time of our last fetch.
