How much does paying by card in Poland cost you?
Thanks to shopping, the mountains and cross-border trips, Poland is a currency Czechs pay in often and in small amounts. All the more reason to know what rate your bank applies to the zloty — across dozens of small payments over a weekend the markup adds up to an amount that is no longer negligible.
We compare PLN/CZK rates against the official reference rate of the Czech National Bank (CNB), published every business day. Banks quote the zloty per unit, so the number in the table is the number of crowns per 1 PLN.
See whether your bank is among the cheaper ones for the zloty, or whether it pays off to reach for a card that uses the card network's rate.
💡 How to read the table: Green values mean a rate better than the CNB reference, red values mean you overpay. The higher the red number, the bigger your loss.
⚠ Yellow rows mean the rate's date in the table is not today (e.g. the last business day, a weekend or a holiday, or the bank has not published a rate for the current day yet). They follow the rate date, not the time of our last fetch.
